Hello, I would like to translate Holoquest into Turkish. It is already written that I can translate, but I want to ask a few questions. So is there anyone I can talk to?

Any chance this could have a zip version?
Rar may be easy to open on Windows, but on Steamdeck/Linux the itch.io app (which is the easiest way to run itch games on a Steamdeck) can't extract rar. That means it can't be run.

I added a version that's packaged as a zip. Can you give that a shot?

Strangely the zip version isn't showing up in the itch app. Only the rar is.

I figured I'd give it a few days to see if it just needed a while to show up, but it's still not there. I don't understand why the itch app is refusing to show anything besides the rar. Doesn't make any sense.

I tried re-uploading the files, and checking it on the app myself. Any luck?

I finally had time to check this again. It's working now.

Thanks for fixing it and for making this game :)

How do you play this game on mobile

Would absolutely love to play this but i have an android phone....sad times.

You can play it using Joiplay

I just hope that works on the Windows 8.1

can you please add a 32 bit version?

thank you soo much

Hi there! I've been looking around, but I haven't had any luck finding out how to package the games for 32bit systems.
I'll keep looking and see if I can figure out a method.

I appreciate it very much

best of luck, bro

Just wondering, not sure how to work with rar files for windows. How do i use it?

Howdy! You'll need WinRAR or a similar extraction program like 7zip to unpack all the files onto your computer.
You can typically download these programs for free online.

ok not sure if its finished but if not then well it has a long way to go before becoming good, the intro was funny and cute too, the art style not amazing but not bad, but the combat is the worst in RPG history and the fact that most of the moves make no senses, there's a better hololive RPG game called dream labyrinth which is sometimes annoying but way more fun, also a difficulty option would be nice for the bad combat, would only give it two stars for now might change with a update

Today i found this game and i really like the desings and the story you gave for the game. But i have a problem wen i start the game (new) in the intro wen its talking about the dragon the game closes by itself, honestly i dont know why.

That's certainly odd. Is there any other information you can tell me about the crash? Does it crash in the exact same place/dialogue, for example? What version of the game are you using (Windows, Mac)?

Sorry for reply to late :c

Im using Windows and the crash start at the moment when in the first cinematic he is going to introduce gura, Ame, Callie, Kiara and Ina

Gotcha, I'll look into it as soon as I'm able. Do you get any kind of error message?

I take a recorded from the game, were i can send you the video?

Oh, you can upload it as an unlisted video on Youtube, if you'd like. I think itch.io comments also support video, so you could give that a try.

Well made, super fun and humorous as well!

Very fun game ! The artstyle and overall tone is adorable, there's a lot of refrences spread throughout and the combat system is fairly interesting

good game and fun :)  still have to beat the last post game boss though

Hey is there any tips for the postgame boss fight you can give me?

Sure. The first postgame boss fight shares an elemental weakness for you to exploit. Make sure to look over all your options, including the updated shops, and don't forget that you have some 'last resort' survival skills for your main damage-dealers like Hinotori and Deathbound!

Found this like a week ago but didn't actually start playing till today. I LOVE it. The art is so adorable and silly, and the dialogue is actually good! Only in the first town right now, but I will try and progress further today. Also it works great on Joiplay!

Oh, glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for trying it out!

Cool game, really enjoyed it. The battle system and dialogue were great. While I was a little disappointed that you never get any new skills (outside of a couple items), the game was short enough and you start with enough skills for that to make sense. The items fell in a weird spot though, there was a lot of unique items, but there was never a need for any of the consumables besides the stat boosters, the materials hardly mattered, and the equipment seemed to promote tinkering and countering your upcoming opponent, but I never felt a need to prepare against a boss since they didn't pose enough of a threat to require it. Another small gripe I had was that while the animations were nice, I found a lot of them them a little slow (maybe it was my computer being slow?). Overall though, the game was really fun to play through, the tutorial area did a great job setting up the rest of the game and there weren't any dull moments throughout the whole game. The effort put into every part of the game really showed.

Gotcha. I did design the game to be on the easier side seeing as it was meant to be a silly game primarily, but your feedback is duly noted. Thanks for playing!

I'm just someone who likes difficult rpgs and can't play games without tryharding at them (half joking). I understand that there are reasons like pacing and accessibility for a game to be easy and maybe a harder game wouldn't work well with the lighthearted story (which I really did enjoy). The reason I mentioned it was actually because there was enough depth in the combat systems for me to want to optimize in the first place. Honestly, if a postgame boss gave a real challenge, or if refighting bosses gave you the option to fight a version of them with increased stats or let you fight them like a boss rush (or some other optional point of difficulty I haven't thought of), any of those would probably do a lot to quench my thirst for optimization. Again, I still really enjoyed the game, including the combat (lining up big turns is still quite satisfying, changing attack plans based on resistances keeps things interesting, and one of my playthrough's highlights was my fight against nature idolbeast taking 36 turns due to me getting in a bad stalemate situation and having to figure out what my out is on the spot).

Hi I played it again on Windows and had a problem with it, it worked fine but for some reason when i walked and run it didn't respond until two seconds after holding direction and the animation was slow when fighting or moving to another scene so, i'm not sure why it was happening, could you look into it please, thank you

Also is there a chance if you can maybe add like a audio of the Hololive members talking or interacting for example at the start where is it shows good morning motherf***ers there was an audio clip of it which could make it better just a suggestion thanks again

Apologies for the late response. I'll look into those issues as well!

Thanks for letting me know!

Love your game so much

While playing it there was a problem -

TypeError

Cannot read property 'list' of undefined

Could you please fix it and thanks

Could you provide any info on where and how the error occurred? Any information would be appreciated.

Sorry for not being specific i'm playing it on a mac after a battle with an enemy it showed on the screen

TypeError

Cannot read property 'list' of undefined

so i restarted the game then  passed that enemy instead and it happened again with a different one it happened in the area with the small tent and the area before that

I'm only going through the tutorial screens and I'm loving the game so far. Lovely illustrations, funny dialogue and interesting combat system.

Great job!
